HDMI shorted from "High Definition Multimedia Interface",is a High definition multimedia Connector which defined by Hitachi, Panasonic, Philips, Silicon Image、Sony、Thomson、Toshiba in 2002. HDMI can provide 10.2Gbps Bandwidth Data transmission. Meanwhile, it can transmit uncompressed audio Signal and high resolution video signal. The advantage for application of HDMI is that only one HDMI Cable can transmit Video and Audio simultaneouslyin high quality.

1.HDMI Introduction

HDMI Optical Cable can support 1080P uncompressed and high resolution signal.,while traditional brass HDMI can only transmit over 10m. Even use signal amplifier, it can only reach 45m.

Due to HDMI optical cable can transmit signal for long-distance while Compared to brass HDMI cable, Its bandwidth is more high, HDMI Optical cable can be widely used in mid-distance and long-distance project situation.
