2012 international optical fiber communication forum was held in Hohhot
From Aug. 11th to 12th, 2012 international optical fiber communication forum named "The second wind of Chinese optical fiber communication development" was held in Hohhot, Inner Mongolia. Attendance includes tens of academicians, and professions from China mobile, China telecom, China Union, China State Grid, as well as other professions & representatives from USA, Japan, Korea, Singapore, total reached over 300 peoples. Hwaying as one of famous companies in China POF industry also attend this meeting.
The first presentation named "the development chance for Optical fiber development in fast data demand" was sponsored by Wu Hequan, the academician& Secretary-General of CAE. And the next presentation named "The development, Chance and challenge of Optical fiber network" was made by Wei Leping, the Director of China Telecom. In this presentation, Director Wei Leping appeals to the government to issue a optical fiber network strategy, supporting the development of optical fiber tele-communication.
On the day of opening ceremony, there was Tele-com POF development strategy meeting whose theme is "the chance for development of China Tele-com POF industry", which was Chaired by academician Li Leping and Fang Sheng, the chairman of Golden Triangle. The 9 attendances are from Academician Zhao Zhisen from CAE, Doc. Tang Xiongyan from China Union, Wang Xiaomu from China Telecom, Chairman Wu Qi from Hwaying, and so on.
As the first speaker, Mr Wu Qi, the chairman of Hwaying offered a wonderful presentation which including POF development in China & Abroad, Hwaying development in products and market, the trend of POF Development. Other guests also offer their presentation and ideas about POF industry situation and development. The final result is: To a new borne industry, there should be a good policy and standard. We have to accelerate the POF application Standards progress.
In this meeting, the common voice is: POF Industry is a fresh industry, it need time to make it maturity industry. However, with those years development, more and more factory and company are willing to use POF, and more enterprise, industry, and people are paying more attention on POF industry.
Compared to former years, passive voice was almost disappeared in this meeting, substituted was the thinking, suggestion, and blessing to POF industry development.
