France Telecom lay the fiber-optic network
According to the French "Le Figaro", The French national telecommunications operators - France Telecom (FranceTélécom) recently said they have signed an agreement with some industry groups of Auvergne District for the laying of fiber-optic network in French Clermont-Ferrand,on 7th February.
France Telecom stressed that the agreement will help to improve the coverage and speed rate of FTTH network. Based on their inherent technology , put a strong private sector financial support, the purpose is to improve the optimization of public and private investment in the country within the convergence ability. This agreement will support the tools of dialogue and information sharing, to enable local businesses to better match the task of laying fiber-optic network deployment.
France Telecom CEO Stefan - Richard (StéphaneRichard,,) said this regional agreement is first of its kind in France. In the current economic environment, for the construction and development of future high-speed network, this is a critical and specific steps.
